Head would tilt a little more as Ekko explained that they were kicked out by Cataleya. Not what he was really asking in his mind... He was more curious about all the affection between the two. Amarant had acted that way when he met Ekko... But just before he could open his mouth, Colten would explain even more; enough to answer his question. But the black spotted boy had no clue what that even meant. He looked at his brother with a raise of his eyebrow in response, but he continued to speak again; this time to say that they were heading south. Amarant's ears would pull back with only a little frustration. He looked at Colten for a moment, but then closed his eyes as rage started to fill him. The hell? He was leaving again. Just like he had with mom... He would stay in the position for a while, eyes clenching and ignoring anything Colten might have said. But then he realized he had a choice... or he better have one, he wasn't even thinking of Cat and Kylar. "I'm going with you." It wasn't really something he wanted... He wanted to live in Arcanum with his grandfather and make a difference in the flaming pack. But there was no way he was going to let Colten get away with running again. |
