Desdemona was in a state of shock, she should have seen this coming, she knew she should have, after that first night amongst the trees and the forest that enshrouded Tortuga the two had scarcely spent a eve not joined together. Even out of her heat, his body was something she craved with the same desperation that she needed air. Queen or no Queen, she needed Demonio. His body, his love, his light. He was her everything, the missing piece of her soul, she should have known that the moment he joined them together in the most intimate of ways that she would be ruined to everyone save him. No matter how beautiful or stunning there was no one and nothing that could compare to her husband, her lover, her mate. Even out of her heat he had taken her, simply in a desperate attempt to be closer to him she had begged and pleaded and he had never once failed her. The pleasure he brought her, absolute rapture... in hind sight she should have seen this coming and perhaps she had, but the levity of such a statement rocked the ivory woman to her core.

The healer had scampered away long ago, leaving the Queen to her thoughts but her words still rung like chimes in her brain, rattling forever more in the confines of her mind. She had been feeling queasy, not sick, not ill, just a bit unbalanced, not wanting to concern Demonio unless she absolutely needed too, she had gone to a medic and after a very brief examination and a few questions the wolf has spoken rather calmly that she wasn't ill, but she was pregnant. So many emotions filled her joy, elation, excitement, love, fear... the emotions choked her and rendered her speechless and for a long moment she stood in quiet contemplation and taking a few moments to get over her shock, her legs were moving, a genuine smile, larger and more broad than anything she had ever given painted itself upon the Queen's maw and with a patience barely restrained she rocketed towards her den. What better place to tell him than the site where they would raise their children?

She skidded to a halt near the river that trickled just outside their den and with excitement and eagerness coloring her tones, her maw would careen to the heavens, a call for her lover, her mate, steady and strong her voice would carry, with just a hint of urgency. She needed him to attend her and he bade him do it swiftly, she wasn't sure she could contain this excitement much longer.
