Heart's On Fire

Locha laughed quietly to herself as she got further and further from the den. She had been kept prisoner there for the last week. Ever since her fall she'd been told that she couldn't go far unless it was a necessity. Of course there were protests, but Locha couldn't argue against her family for long. Now, like the element she was named for, Locha grew restless. Her injury had almost healed and she was so bored! Like a stormy sea she just wanted to move and be free! Gradually she picked up the pace once she was sure she wouldn't be seen. Running through the trees, she didn't stop. Halting only, to take a drink, the girl sat underneath the blossoming trees. It was really beautiful here. The forest looked fairly new, the foliage wasn't very dense. Sunlight dappled the ground around her feet playfully. Cherry blossom trees were dotted around the forest, their pink foliage dropping to the ground. A grin on her face, Locha stood on her hind legs and swatted at the petals as the floated down, not even realizing that she'd stopped just a few steps from her sister. "Burn Baby Burn" |
