Winter had descended upon Alacritis, bringing with it cold temperatures and harsh conditions. Few things made this time of year bearable. The first taste of winter was borne with snow flurries that slowly but surely began coating different regions of the lands. The western portion of Alacritis had yet to be covered the desert temperatures keeping the land a touch warmer, though obvious traces of winter had begun to creep in. It had been two seasons since his return to the packs, and two seasons since he had been reunited with his mate, Blu. Two seasons ago, his life had no meaning and now they were happy- together, and that?s what mattered.
Snow billowed in the wind, as the black brute paced the cavern the pair had been sheltering in as of late, while exploring the nearby lands. Turning on his haunches, he paced back into the cave, letting out a soft rumble calling his mate. Blue eyes peered into the darkness, the only color illuminating from his dark form. Staring into the darkness he willed his smaller grey mate to appear from the wide expanse of the cave.
