For a moment he would lay there, considering and mulling, trying to figure out if he should let Cat get it as he usually did or to finally start taking up the reigns as an alpha again and do his job... No he didn't want to do his job then then again a pang of guilt stabbed at his belly at the thought of leaving his wife to do everything. So with that he would slowly lift himself, massive paws pushing his body up before haunches unfurled and he lifted himself. The beast would shake out his ebony and steel coat before he would set off at a lope, long limbs devouring the ground before him. He would approach the male quickly only to slow and stop a fair distance away, a good couple of meters as acidic gaze took in the male before him. Miniscule... A slow sneer would slip across his lips before he would speak. "What..." His voice was harsh, grating, gravely from missuse. How long had it been since he had spoken? It felt weird, wrong... The beast's head would raise, chin tipping down to peer at the male from down the bridge of his nose. Tail would lift and arch over his back but all the while defenses stayed intact, prepared and ready for anything.
