Everything about this male grated on the beast's last nerve as he stared down at the insignificant creature standing before him. Though tall he might as well have been a child in Kylar's mind, the massive beast allowing muscles to ripple beneath ebony pelt. Acidic eyes would narrow as the brat would dare to speak. Apologizing for waking Kylar from his nap, sarcasm dripping from his words as he shook himself out and sneered at Kylar. The beast was silent, a sentinel as he stared at the man down the end of his nose. Eyes would narrow dangerously but aside from that he would remain perfectly still. The fool would dare look away and quickly Kylar would move, long legs pulling him forward in an attempt to stop him a mere inches from the male, trying to invade his personal space. The male would speak of a queen and finally lips would curl back. "Why don't I make you my queen..." He would rumble, words dripping like stones from his lips. So entrapped in his conversation he would only notice his wife when she slid along his side. Sweet poisonous words would drip from her lips but she would make no move to attack. He would not speak, not yet, waiting...
