The golden vixen was stalking the Moor, remaining in the shadows of the trees that lived there. She walked through the sludgy water, steps slow and drawn out to lessen the splashes. Leaf-green eyes roved the landscape far and wide, ensuring that each bit was covered by her stare. She remained silent with her words and more focused than she had been in a long time. The woman was preparing herself for future endeavors where she would need to be perfectly poised for any situation...including war. Her blood began to pump faster at the thought, but her body remained still as she heard the pulsing in her ears. The shell should always hide whatever is going on within its capacity. Always.

She began to take another step when she heard a very faint rustle. Eyes narrowed to a bush not too far from where she stood and she caught the twitch of blackish-gray fur. A crafty grin appeared on her face and she lowered herself into the water, consuming everything about her but her head. Ears flattened against her skull and she moved downstream, keeping her scent from the winds and remained noiseless as she then dove completely underwater. Her body worked like a robot, knowing exactly where to go.

In a matter of minutes, Maija broke free from the water. She slowly moved, making sure she wouldn't be heard or her scent wouldn't give her away. Muffled paws carried her towards the bush, eyes narrowing as she got closer. She came up from behind, knowing that the tiniest sound could mess up her plan. Luckily for her, she smelled like the Moor and the mossy ground was spongy enough to conceal her direct location. Finally, she made it to the bush and her maw slipped beside one of Basanti's ears. "I found you," she whispered, voice thick with her Romanian accent and mischief noted in her leaf-green eyes. She waited for her future Queen to react, then she would proceed with their next lesson.
