Helpful indeed. He only assured her there was a way to relieve her troubles rather than stating his course of action. She assumed he didn't know himself, or was making it up the further they delved into this conversation. Surprises weren't something she was a fan of. Perhaps it was best if she didn't know what to do, even if she didn't think positively about it.
It was a feeling she had not felt in a long time. The feeling of contact with another. She focused on that feeling as his flank gently brushed against hers. In a way she felt comforted by it. His pace began to slow as he halted his movements, which she copied and stood still beside him.
