"It's not going anywhere, so I can work on it later just as well as I can work on it now." Spring was on its way; it was possible that by the time they got back the snow would be gone and she wouldn't have to do anymore digging.

The choice was entirely his; she wasn't going to say anything to influence his decision in any way. If he wanted to go now, great, if not, later would be just as great. Warja was in no hurry.
