She had wandered away from home, again. Who could blame her? The whole wide world was out there, with all it's secrets and mysteries. Nothing could keep her away from it! Trotting gaily through the willow trees, it was impossible to resist chewing on the ends of all those snakelike branches. In her wake was a trail of thoroughly chewed, budding branches, who just couldn't resist tempting the poor little thing. She paused with her pallid toes in a stream, looking down at the little trickle of water rushing around her feet. Quiet giggles streamed from her maw, mismatched optics squeezing shut in delight. It wasn't very warm water, but she found joy in stomping through the small streams, splashing cool water this way and that.

This was a nice place, she liked it a lot. It was peaceful here, nothing could possibly disturb any of that. The breeze whistled through the willows, their drooping foliage dancing to the faint song. The trilling of birds all around only added to the calm ambiance, and the lavender babe found herself wanting to have a short nap.

Meandering through the tickle-y vine-like branches of the willow tree to her right, the lass padded lazily up to the trunk and found a nice little place among the roots. There was a thin layer of moss over some of the roots, making a soft of cushion. With a grin, she curled up right there and closed her bicoloured optics. A nap would be nice, then she could do a little more exploring. After that, it would probably be time to go home. By the time she got there, sleep would be calling her, and maybe more stories from her moms. Life was perfect, and the petite violet wolflet didn't want a single thing to ever change. It was going to stay like this forever.
