Signy's wandering feet had once more carried her restlessly to parts far away, this time back to the north. She couldn't remember if she'd ever been here particularly, but she really liked the big trees. Even more she liked the feeling it gave her to pee all over the fading scent markers of a pack - ha, take that, pack. Sure, the pack had obviously left already so it was only... a minor victory against the Establishment but hey. A victory was a victory.

Mid-steam she heard voices. "Signy!" Ozzy hissed at her, but she was off and running already and the little pine marten had to bounce along beside her until she suddenly skidded to a stop so that he ran into her legs. Holy... wow! Green wolves! And blue wolves! She'd seen red wolves before but that green one (hardly bigger than Signy herself at that) had horns like a goat! Acid eyes were wide as dinner plates within their golden brackets until Ozzy bit her leg warningly and she slipped into playing-it-cool mode instead of ask-five-million-questions-and-get-her-face-bitten-off mode. See, Ozzy, she could do it just fine. Sauntering forward she plopped her tiny self down right next to the colorful group as though she belonged there. "Sup! This looks exciting! What you guys up to? Are we conspiring? Can I conspire? Who are you guys? What is conspiring and why does everyone ask me if I am? Are you? Are these all your kids? That's a lot of kids. Why are you -" Hey she'd been born in a litter of three, anything more than that was a lot of kids. A second, sharper bite interrupted her before she could ask why the tiny horned green woman was tiny horned and green, and she kicked at the marten, though she also shut up and instead just beamed around at everyone. Yeah yeah she could take a hint. Shut up Signy, shut up! Always with the bossiness!
