Even if he hadn't seen the hole where her bright green eye once was he wouldn't have noticed it's significance through the blood that covered her face. The sarcasm on her voice wasn't lost on him, and the emotion it would evoke was relief. She wasn't so hurt that he had to worry about her death. So long as the bleeding stopped.. Oh now of all times he wished that Faolan was with him. He had been rather accomplished as a healer last he'd checked. He hadn't checked back in a long time though. "Oh, Canta." He'd whisper almost silently into her fur as he pushed against her, "Should get you to our sisters." He knew Novel and Ara were rather accomplished healers, but he knew not of Novel's sons or their newly blossoming relationship. Nor did he realize they no longer had a home to go back to.
