meet me on the other side

After a little while of wandering around and trying to figure out where he was, he tried to sniff the place out, getting nothing in result. Well, except the faint smell of mist and morning dew. That was all. It felt so real. But it was all a dream. The man slowly seated himself and glanced around curiously, relaxing his ruffled brown fur and rolling his shoulders forward. When suddenly, a scream slithered into his sensitive ears and caused a shocked whine to leave his lips. He jumped to his paws and stood toward the sound with his tail evened with his spine and his ears pinned to his head...but nothing was there. What was going on?

He looked up, behind him, below him. All around him! This dream was definitely mysterious already. The masked boy slowly sat back down and tucked his fluffy tail over his paws. Though, he continued to glance around every so often, checking to see if anything strange was stalking him.

"We'll take him away..." Was all he heard, a soft gasp leaving his lips as he yanked his head toward the sound. Only to find...the girl he met a few days ago? Ixionn narrowed his eyes and tilted his head a bit, a bit confused. He'd only had a dream about Hajime and Elsa...no one else. Not even his siblings. But...he did know that she didn't accept the little swimming invitation he offered her. Was this girl real though? Could she talk? "You're that boy from the other day?" Answered his question completely. Ixionn stared for a moment, before nodding weakly.

"Yeah. And you're that girl? What was your name again?" He blinked quickly, knowing not that both of them had yet to introduce themselves. Bad memory, perhaps. His eyes drifted to the ground, but almost immediately landed onto Chione again. "And...what are you doing here? In my dream?"
