meet me on the other side
Once he spoke, her eyes grew stone cold and he frowned. Obviously, she did not want him here. Maybe they weren't friends after all? Or maybe it was all just complicated...? The boy shook his head and stood up, making his way up a large rock and sprawling across it casually. As he did this, she answered his question with her name. Chione. It sounded Greek, but it didn't really matter, did it? It was a pretty name. And it was unique...unlike his! Ixionn smiled and nodded with satisfaction, a soft chuckle bubbling from his lips.
"Pretty name,"
He responded, tail thumping gently against the stone. Even though she didn't like his compliments or his silly little jokes, he said them aloud anyways. She'd enjoy them eventually. Hopefully. "I'm Ixionn Walker, ex-prince of Isokan." He said with a grin, not minding the fact that she would know his pack was simply torn away from him. It still annoyed the hell out of him...ah, it wasn't something to sulk over now. He was speaking to a fri-...uh, acquaintance. His frown disappeared and he stared down at her bluntly.
She began to go on about how this was her dream, and how he was the one who wasn't supposed to be in it. Not the other way around. Though, he never thought of it as a problem that she was lingering here, in his head. After all, he did appreciate her company. It just seemed that she didn't feel the same way. Was he really that much of a nuisance to her?
"Oh, and if you don't want me here, I can leave. Well, I can try. You seem to be disappointed to see me here." The boy began, watching her back up with her head low. His tail stopped thumping, and his eyes stayed emotionless, lips curved down into a simple, calm frown. Kind of like how his real father, Hajime, would address his children back then. In a calm...relaxed manner.
