The earthen female responded that she was alright, although she spoke quite shakily. Mismatched eyes curiously stared into a bronze gaze. Her shy fearful expression stuck in her mind. Was she afraid of her? Why? Hoping to assure her she was no threat, the stranger turned her body and began to walk away. Varda's head drooped miserably while her mind twisted with confusion and blame. Was she the one who had somehow tripped the woman over? Had she hurt or invaded her privacy? She hadn't meant to, however she found it best not to ask for the reason. In fact, she wouldn't ask any questions.
"Oh," Words rolled out in a low mumble, almost a whisper. She tried not to sound disappointed by her leave, hoping they could form a friendly acquaintanceship. "If you need your space, I can respect that."
It didn't seem likely she would turn around now, even if she secretly hoped that would be the outcome.
