Atreides bounded along behind their alpha and his family, determination showing in the set of his young jaw and the fire in his green eyes. They were going to be able to fight, right? That's the only reason he could think of that they would bring all the pups to the tournament. His dad had seen to getting them training despite the terrifying frailty of his own body, and Trei was more than ready to show everyone what an Armada was capable of - to show his dad how hard he was working to be just like him. To impress his dad.
And to show up his sisters and the Imperialis pups a bit too, maybe.
He pointedly ignored the mean gray lady who kept trying to boss them around. He didn't care that she had been one of his dad's teachers. Dad was way better than she was, and she wasn't an Armada. She couldn't boss them. She wasn't his mom!
A lithe white female bounded ahead of them, and the flash of white made his breath catch involuntarily, and his lip quivered for a moment. But the young girl wasn't his mother. Wasn't Bellona. Mother was dead. Bellona was dead. But he wasn't, Integra wasn't, Sirius wasn't. He stiffened his shoulders, pressed his muzzle shut, and stared straight ahead. They were Armadas. They were strong. They'd show everyone what an Armada could do...
Valentine stopped before a smaller silvery colored old lady and Atreides stopped as well, head cocked to the side curiously, white ears swiveling like radar dishes to capture everything. So many new wolves to see, so many voices...
