His only daughter was incredibly smart, she was quick and didn't need the vast explanations that some might have. As he asked his question her answer would come quickly with a chuckle. He'd join in, it seemed though that training had been lacking, though that was mostly his own fault. He'd been sick so long he'd not been able to really train them like his mother had done with him. For that they deserved an apology. Varda would make it obvious she was ready to train in those areas as well, which made him feel all more like he'd failed them.
