It wouldn't be long before Frith would find himself settling down at her side, Novella leaning lightly into his touch. All things considered the woman was feeling fine, a little tired and certainly feeling somewhat uncomfortable but she was perfectly healthy. Frith of course was partially to thank for that, spoiling her now. "I'm feeling fine." She replied, another example of that spoiling starting right now as he nudged one of the fish towards her. "Thank you." She added, licking his muzzle before moving to begin eating.
Aslan was likely to blame for the size difference between the litters, this one with fewer pups perhaps or at least ones that were of a far more normal size than their firstborn. They should have realised from the moment he was born that he would grow to be a very large boy. Inexperience hadn't just made her fearful that first time though but left surprised by how swiftly the children had grown. She knew they wouldn't stay tiny forever, would soon grow to miss that moment but she was still eager for the next stage of life for this second litter. "Definitely" She responded. "Or at least as ready as I can be." She probably wasn't a perfect mother but she had done alright with the first litter.
