She understood the importance of keeping to Threar's territories, recalling her father's warning words on the dangers beyond the borders. To her, everything outside of the pack was considered a mystery. In her mental map, she imagined Threar, Abaven and Glaciem spread out neatly on a huge continent. The rest was unknown. She wouldn't mind to travel the dangerous world, however she would stick with visiting allied packs as they were deemed safe.
There was nothing more useful for her to do, unless one of the senior wolves had called a lesson and she had somehow missed it. She found herself patrolling the borders around the falls, satisfied with the peace and serenity. That was how she wanted it to stay until her gaze fell upon the unfamiliar body of a stranger. He was only a few strides away, his smell disguised with the distinct scent of the border. Her body slunk behind luscious bushes in the hopes she would not be seen. Eyes assessed him carefully. His spotted markings were nothing familiar, certainly not a trait her family carried. Who was he? Why was he by the border? Questions pelted in her mind through this new situation. Perhaps he was seeking the leader, should she call her mother?
Out of curiosity and her own initiative, the alabaster girl stepped forward confidently. A multicoloured vision faced a wide gaze of emerald. Lyrics were dangerously quiet, smooth and fluent. Would this stranger be a threat? "What are you doing here?"
