His words came out in a searching stutter, making her roll her eyes at the sight. He didn't have any reason to be here, did he? Why was she wasting her time with him? She could shooed him away at first sight. Pulling half her attention away from his words, the ending of his explanation happened to be heard by her ears, piquing interest.
"Are you hungry?" Confidence melted into concern as she tilted her head to the side. It didn't feel right to sneak food from the pack but it also didn't feel right to let a wolf grow hungry either. Surely the lands beyond the borders had plenty of prey, or that would be unfair.
Names were something she hadn't expected to advance to, but being the polite girl she was, she found it respectful to introduce herself as well. Amarant was a name she would attempt to remember. It was different from her family's names and she liked that.
"Varda Destruction." She introduced with a dip of her head. Was it too much of a name? Oh well, it's not like he was familiar with her family. "You're not over the border anyway, so there's no need to apologize."
She hoped standing in the vicinity of the border wasn't a violation of the rules either. Then again, she was alone, wasn't she?
