Spent, Valentine extricated himself the other and, stretching, move to lay sphinx-like beside him. His expression unreadable, the brute studied his companion. He would be lying if he said hadn't enjoyed their time together. Finding another brute who shared his tendencies was rare, nearly unheard of in his experience.
