Though she wished Novel had come with her today, she knew that some days were simply not easy for her mate -- often she was content to stay inside their den, ans though Ara knew that her wife needed her support, she also could do well with some time alone. And she couldn't bear to let her sons wander and play without joining them, even if only briefly.
