“I think we've found it,” he murmured to her after having tossed his head back over his right shoulder. She was there, very near to him, and it felt good to have her at his side once more. Head dropped to sniff at the border, though it wasn't overly necessary given the pungent stench of the invisible line Imperium had drawn for themselves. “Definitely,” he spoke with the upmost certainty, twisting his cranium toward her once more - setting his green eyed gaze upon her features. “Last chance to run,” he jested, an ear flicking idly. He had known all along Regium wasn't for him, but this - this could be home. He waited a moment more, half expecting her to balk or tell him she was running off again. After the moment passed he lifted his muzzle to the sky, singing the song of the Armadas and announcing their presence darkening the border. He hoped it would be Valentine that met them, as they had met only a short time ago. Surely their acceptance would then be only a swift answer away. His song would fade to a decrescendo and ultimately an end, and he would find himself leaning into her slightly. It felt good to touch her, to be so near to her. It had always felt this way, even as children. Being with her was just natural. He wouldn't linger long though, as he adjusted his weight back equally on his four paws, prepared for whatever or whoever met them in the coming minutes.
