The journey had not been long, but she felt emotionally fatigued by the time they had made it to the border of this pack called Imperium. It had felt refreshing to be at his side once again. With him, at least she could be herself -- he could take her anger and her sadness, and she could only hope that he would not leave her again. She was quiet for much of the journey, turning to eye Kyarst with curiosity in her gaze as they came upon the border. Her weariness shone in her eyes as she dipped her head, sniffing at the borders, as though longing to catch the familiar scent of her deceased siblings. "I think I'll put up with you a bit longer," she commented dryly, smirking gently in his direction. Though she knew very little about this pack, she did know that family was here, and that was all that really mattered to her at this point. Still, she leaned into his touch, feeling reassured by his presence before he pulled away. She stood tall on all fours, tail curling slightly at her back paws, hoping she made a good first impression; something she rarely worried about, but when it came to the future she might share with her only litter-mate's children, it was important to her. |
