Valentine seemed to materialize, strolling toward them slowly and confidently. Had he been albino Kyarst might have sworn he was Isardis himself. He certainly had the cool air of an Armada, despite being without the surname. The Isardis-borne pushed these thoughts from his mind, though, as Valentine extended a greeting to them both. It seemed they had, indeed, made their way safely to Imperium. Kyarst dipped his head respectfully to the Imperator, listening as he addressed Lysis cordially. So, Valentine had remembered their discussion, Kyarst was pleased. 'Would it be impertinent of me to assume that you're both looking to join?' A smile flickered across the purest Armada's lips as he forged a sidelong glance at Lysis, making sure she wasn't having second thoughts. “We have been seeking a home, and we don't believe there's anyplace better than where our family is.” Of course he was speaking directly about the children of Drashiel and Roman. They had been a big factor in bringing both he and Lysis here, though Kyarst had been intrigued by Imperium even before learning of Drashiel and Roman's fate. For him, the children had been the last ounce of incentive he needed to set his mind. “We are both grateful to you for the home you provided Drashiel and Roman.” Valentine had mentioned something during their last encounter about sheltering the couple, and Kyarst would always be grateful that Valentine had seen to taking care of the two. “speak,” |
