Cascade's attention was drawn away from the childrens' hunting lesson by the sound of Valentine's howl. Hm... this sounded big. She hesitated, glancing measuringly at the three children. It didn't sound like the kind of meeting to bring babies to... but they were growing up and it would do them good to see what was going on in the pack. "Sounds like the lesson's over," she said calmly. "You guys need to either go to the den and wait for me, or come with me and observe, but you need to be on your best behavior, understand?" She glanced around, but there was no sign of the three Destruction kids, and Cas growled in uncharacteristic annoyance. Still, who could blame her? They had been vanishing left and right since they got here, and she'd have to put a stop to it. Maybe she'd talk to Valen about putting them in lessons alongside her kids... she didn't know what he intended for them, whether they were meant to be raised as slaves or what, but whatever it was it did nobody any good for them to laze around like useless lumps. But she would bring that up to him later - this meeting sounded much more important than a simple meet-and-greet sort of gathering. "Well, get moving!" she added, both to her kids and any Destructions who might be lingering where her eye hadn't fallen on them.
Eyeing the pups sternly to reinforce her earlier words, she turned to lope toward Valen's call. Coming upon the group her gaze fell upon the presumed missing spotted Destruction kid Caesar, and she raised and eyebrow at him. Her smile, though he might not realize it, promised retribution. These kids had wandered off without asking for the last time, oh yes. Settling herself so that she loomed over him, she then proceeded to ignore him in favor of Valen. Curiosity swept away most of her annoyance now that she'd found one of the little runaways. What was Valen up to this time? Excitement tingled through her at the anticipation.
