Roman had never made it to Imperium, only Drashiel and the children, but Valentine wasn't sure correcting the other was appropriate. He decided to let it go without comment. Glossing over that statement, the brute found himself nodding over Kyarst comment about being near family. He could definitely relate. The first thing he'd done after coming back to Alacritia had been to find and join his mother in Arcanum. Of course he'd split later to pursue his own way, but he still remained close to his family. They were both interested in joining and Valentine saw nothing wrong with allowing them admission. "Then you're both accepted. If you find it agreeable, you'll both start out as Praesidio, that is, Imperium's guards. If that doesn't suit you, you may also start out as one of Imperium's hunters; either Venator or Venatrix as some of our ranks have gender specific titles." He paused briefly to search for a reaction, then, "There are many opportunities for advancement here as well and you are encouraged to strive for higher standings." |
