She was still very tentative to wander these lands, but since she had ruined her families old den and had that encounter with Kyarst... Well that had made things different. She couldn't help but let her mind wander back to that time, her tongue slipping out to rake across her jowls. But it was for sure helping her accept this as Imperium's new pack land, she couldn't just ignore it if she wished to protect the pack. Letting out a sigh she started to wander across the area, when she heard the angered cry of a buffalo. As much as she loved to jab at the beasts, she knew that they had young at this time and were probably super protective of them. But out of curiosity she wandered closer, hearing the growl of a young wolf. Purple eyes narrowed slightly as her brows knit together, her gait breaking into a trot as she crested the small hill that had been blocking her vision. What she saw below her would have been humorous in any other occasion, the wolf and beast running circles around each other. Panic lit in her chest as she was rooted in place, watching to inspect the outcome. But when they ended up head to head, she knew that the boy was stuck.

Carefully Mercy made her way down the hill, coming at the buffalo from behind on its left side. She was in a low crouch, downwind from the beast as she crawled closer. Her gaze cut towards the boy, seeing the tell tale eye spots of Valen. Ah, so this was one of his pups? Well, look like they had his guts. Coming closer to the buffalo's ass, she jumped up and clamped her jaws around its rump. It let out a grunt, her wide head turning to look at Mercy. Her elongated tail twisted and swirled behind her, trying to keep her aligned so that she wouldn't fall over on to her back. When the buffalo had her attention on the wolf, Mercy hoped that the pup would get the message and gtfo.
