The howl. An otherwise peaceful day interrupted by war. Eyes would narrow slight before head would snap to the group gathered around her. Family... Her children lounged, rainbow napping near the spring and Nova nearby as always. She would blink in confusion before sighing and standing slowly. "Come here my sweets..." She would murmur, beckoning her children towards her, even Aakil. Toxin had been scarce as of late but she made sure to lock her gaze on him until he too would come. "I need you all to go with Aunt Rainbow. Our old pack is coming to kill us and I need you to be safe." She would say softly, touching her nose to each of her children, inhaling each other their scents before looking to Rainbow and nodding. "I need you to leave, cut south since they are coming from the forest, head to the coast and follow east, swim out to one of the islands there, I don't care which one... If we survive we will find you within two weeks time. If not..." Then goodbye... She couldn't bring herself to say it so she would force a smile and again touch each of her children before looking to her mate. Was he ready? Would Jae and Fen come? What about the other male? She would not blame them for running if they liked. She knew not why this was happening but she didn't want to endanger her pack in any way.
