Watching you, watching me

Before he knew it there was a pressure at his scruff, he almost didn't notice it as he'd fallen quite close to unconsciousness. Finally there was air, but he still couldn't breathe with all the water that was now taking up residence within his poor lungs. The stranger who'd grabbed him had a solution just for that though, and as he felt pressure on his abdomen a cough would expel the excess salt water. How in the world had this happened. He'd look up groggily at the tall dark man that had saved him, he'd roll his eyes as a grunt was let out, he was alive and in no danger of dying at the moment but he was more than exhausted.
He'd cough a bit more water out of his lungs before he grew still, not trying to be rude to his savior but he just could not lift his head. "Thank you," He'd cough out, bright yellow gaze shifting to the wolf. He'd try to catch his breath, and silently would lay there at the other's feet, attempting to regain his wits.
