Hell to pay

He heard Motif's call, but he was rather far off to really respond with any kind of quickness. The anger that he heard in her voice was unlike anything he'd ever expected from her and it worried him that it was directed towards their daughter. She should have come to him first if she had any intentions of punishing or confronting their daughter. He had every right to know what she'd done before Shaye was put into the hot seat. He'd feel a bit of irritation rise in his chest but he knew how much stress Motif had been under recently. He knew exactly how deeply she'd been effected by her sister's banishment, but he still thought she was simply punishing herself.
He knew very well that Rhythm was a huge part of Motif's life, to have her removed so suddenly would obviously do some damage, what he didn't understand was why she was upset with the girl and not their brother who had barred her from coming back. Even her own daughter she had been willing to share with him, to move from one end of the continent to the other on a regular basis, but now that her sister was a short trip away she couldn't be bothered to visit anymore. He was watching Motif destroy herself and he was powerless to stop her.
He'd not spoken of these opinions though, just quietly kept to himself hoping that Motif might come to her senses and forgive like Shaye. He'd suspected that she'd been wandering off, but he felt no immediate danger. He'd taught her well. He was worried now though, with Motif's current state he had no idea what she might do to their poor daughter.
Large paws would carry the titan as quick as he could to the meeting, feeling Mo's anger and seeing the three wolves already present. He wasn't sure about Bass's presence as he heard exactly what the crime was. Shaye had sought out her aunt, with out permission, and Motif had found out. He'd come to stand behind his daughter, a silent comfort as he waited for what Motif might do.
