She shook her head in response, letting him know that she appreciated the information. He had been rather long winded about it, but he supposed that what he'd told her had been interesting in some way. He had no clue if she'd even bother to remember it, but he had passed it on nevertheless. She settled at his side and he felt an excitement beating in his chest, similar to that which always appeared when a woman was near him - particularly a woman in heat. He tried to ignore the feeling, focusing his efforts on surveying what was around him. She seemed to be doing the same, and for a moment a peaceful silence fell over them. The day was cooling off, ushering in the afternoon and the evening soon enough.
