Walk | Talk | Think

Since he was not in his pack's territory, Miksa gave no mind to the scents that he passed as he traveled. He was hardly in a mood to strike up conversation, nor was he really the type to even on a good day, and he doubted anyone would bother approaching him anyway. They were nothing but other travelers continuing about their business, just as he was, and for all he knew they could have been well on their way by the time he noticed their scents anyway.

So even though he might have smelled the scent of the other wolf who happened to be nearby he was caught entirely off guard when she called out to him. The silence was broken by the suddenness of her voice, and startled Miksa visibly jumped in place as his paws stopped him, his body tensing as he slowly turned his head to face his caller. Though he possessed a coat that allowed him to more or less blend with the consistent wintry north, this wolf was entirely visible. Her fur was dark, a solid, pitch black, and her eyes were vibrant, green like new spring leaves. She stood out like a sore thumb.

"Uh." The young wolf incoherently made a noise as he considered how to answer. What did he answer first? "I'm...not going anywhere." Maybe that was not the best way to answer. And though he lived here, he did not feel like he had done enough exploring to lend him any credit to claiming to know the place. "I'm just walking. My home is nearby and I wanted to get away for a little bit." He stood where he had stopped, looking her way. Would she know of his pack that resided here in the north? Or was she perhaps unfamiliar with this part of the world?
