While most adolescent girls her age would have squirmed from their father's kisses, whining with embarrassment and exasperation, Varda managed to like the affection she received. Her accomplishment brought a warm feeling rising inside of her, making a large melting smile spread across her expression. Not only was she proud herself, but she had also pleased her father, which was her goal right from the start.
Once he finished with his kisses (if he could), she would speak. "Is there anything else I need to work on?" Although he had praised her effort as perfect, surely there were other things she could improve on in the near future.
