In the distance, the beast watched carefully, sickly green orbs febrile as he watched his former, if not, recent home be claimed by a duo of...  colorful wolves.  One was familiar, gold on black.  Except, the other one...  a titan compared to the gold male, was entirely new.  What home was there left for him now?  Where were Rainbow and their adopted children supposed to go?  They couldn't run fast enough from Imperium, for they would be found.  Dione had not stepped up to the challenge for her pack.

It was never worth it.

Fenris should not have even tried.  Why had he?  Suddenly, he remembered.  For Rainbow.  She was the one he truly loved...  enjoyed.  They were still together...  yet it did not feel the same.  He was curious to know how it felt to be in power.  Getting low to the ground, he watched carefully, making little noise...  even if he was sticking out rather awkwardly.
