Without even stopping to consider the consequences, Sindri rushed forward to join her brother in the fight against their enemy. Her defenses fell into place in rapid succession; eyes narrowing, forehead furrowing and ears flattening in an effort to protect her face. Along her spine, Sindri's hackles rose, their bristling happening as her head lowered and her tail rose to bring her spine into alignment. Her knees bent slightly as her stance widened and her toes splayed, nails digging into the ground for added traction. Tension ran the length of her body. To complete her defenses Sindri rolled her shoulders forward and tucked her chin. Sindri attempted to approach Aerndis from her (Aern's) left in the hopes of lining up the center of her chest with the center of the exterior of Aerndis' left thigh. She aimed to close the distance between herself and her target rapidly, hoping to build up enough momentum to pack a punch. Sindri's left forepaw rose as she geared up for her first round of attacks. She sought to slam it down on her opponent's left hind paw in the hopes of not only pinning it, but severely damaging the tendons and ligaments that held it together. Her weight redistributed immediately during this move to fix her altered balance. As her forepaw rose, Sindri jutted her left shoulder forward. Intent on using the bony front of it as a lance, she sought to drive it into the outside of her opponent's left kneecap in the hopes of dislocating it and rendering the limb useless. Her aim was for these first two moves (toe stomp, shoulder throw) to happen in one fluid motion; her final step forward before contact was made. If successful they would land within a split second of each other. Her head rolled to her right and then tipped down, jaws flinging wide as she attempted to sink her fangs into Aerndis' left Achilles heel at the midpoint between her hock and rump. Sindri sought to place her upper teeth on the back of Aern's leg and her lower teeth on the exterior with the intention of trapping the aforementioned tendon and severing it. She wanted to cripple and oh, yes. She wanted her brother's tormentor to be blinded by pain. Together they would rid Alacritia of this monster. Round ONE of THREE "" |
