It was fairly quiet, past Sigmarr and Sindri tangling with this Aerndis. Few of Arcanum's wolves had appeared to defend their territory and even those who had seemed disinclined to step into a fight. These then, were the wolves who had turned on the Olympians? He was unimpressed, and glowered through burning orange eyes as they gathered. His eyes widened as Basanti stepped forward. They'd only met the once, but he wouldn't have thought she'd have condoned betraying his family. It felt... almost the more personal for it. For a long time it seemed, nothing happened as Kass mulled over her words - and then chaos. One of the Fiori wolves jumped for an Arcanum wolf, and one of the Arcanum wolves attacked Kass all at once. His first instinct - as the slow boiling anger bubbled over in him - was to leap onto the wolf attacking Kass and pull her off. But no, Kass could take care of himself. The best way to protect him would be to make sure others didn't join the first attacker to outnumber him. Turning his head he spotted Nemesis, staring at Mirajane, and felt a wave of relief. Good - Nemesis could help. "Please protect Mirajane," he rumbled pleadingly, before he bounded into the opposing group. The copper of his legs flashed as he moved heavily through them and stopped before one at random, a brownish-coated female. Even in the heat of anger, he could not bring himself to simply attack without warning so, crinkling his muzzle in as intimidating an expression as he could muster, he stared into her eyes. Was she... was she missing her nose? She was. He'd not known that was even... possible... Blinking in consternation he dragged his attention away from the lacking nose and back to her eyes. "I am going to attack you now," he said solemnly. "Please ready yourself."
