Kyarst wouldn't give much indication of his thoughts, though she really couldn't see his features until she finished. She'd catch his features in her blue and purple stare as he looked back over his shoulder. She wouldn't keep his eyes for long though, with a brief statement he would look away, his paws suddenly very busy. She was good at making things awkward wasn't she? He could see that she might miss them though, "More than I even thought possible." She'd answer softly, but she didn't know if he could hear her or not as he made his way over a particularly difficult root system. "Sorry," she'd call after him a bit louder than her last statement so she knew he heard her, "I don't mean to be so depressing." The faun furred girl would follow behind him over the gnarled roots.
