Valentine definitely agreed with Kyarst on his final comment. There was an incredible frustration building up inside him. It twisted through him, sinking long fingers of malcontentment into his bones and whispering words of agitation in his ears. He was feeling uncharacteristically cruel and there was nowhere (not yet, anyway) for him to loose his venom. "Indeed it would have." The chance to toy with a captive could have been the release he was craving. He padded on, his gait slowly adopting a predatory slink as he continued to dwell on his frustration. His tone somewhat joking, he queried, "Any other noteworthy news before I go looking for lippy loners to maim?" |
