For a brief moment in time Rhythm had been over worried that Bass had somehow convinced their other brother that she was not worth going back to. If she lost Chord though.. She hadn't been able to bear the thought and had forgotten it as she awaited her sibling's return. He had found his way back to her eventually. She'd experienced a lot in his absence, she'd been learning to survive with out her family. They'd been so close once, she still had trouble believing that Bass had so easily passed his judgement. Not that she had to look very far to see the reality.
Her grief was still very much a part of her, but as the days went on hiding it became easier. She still wanted them back more than anything in the world, but there had been no other communication. Even Shaye had been scarce. "Ah, that." Rhythm would look up to him for a story, but all she'd get was failed dreams. There was no quick solution, there never was. She found herself sighing heavily with him, her gaze seeking the horizon over his shoulder. "I don't think they love me anymore," she whispered, still not able to meet his gaze.
