The stranger would back away slightly though it seemed that she wouldn't heed Aláwo's words. She'd stop once more, the distance between them was somewhat reassuring though the Southern girl still felt rather nervous about the entire ordeal this wolf didn't exactly scream friend to her, not that anyone tended to these days anyway. And it would only go downhill from there.
The wolf looked somewhat confused and the reasoning became clear as she spoke. Aláwo of course couldn't understand a word that the other said either, immediately leading her to the conclusion that this stranger was a Northern wolf certainly not to be trusted. She may have spoken relatively calmly though that little detail alone wouldn't be enough to calm her. Her stance would shift to a more defensive one now, lower still to the ground as her lips pulled back slightly, teeth revealed.
"Ariwa-ìyà. O yẹ ki o ko ni le sunmọ wọnyi mimọ-gan." What use was it though, there would certainly be no conversations held, neither could understand a word the other said. A growl would sound instead, universal it's threat would be clear. She felt already in danger being near this wolf but feeling cornered, she would fight if she had to.
