A New Adventure

Kia Silvermoon, who, incidentally, did not have a speck of silver on her, stood staring down into the dried riverbed, inspecting the veins of color that twinkled in the sun. She had never been here before, having traveled far, far from her birth pack to find a brand-new place to call home. This valley, with its beautiful rocks the color of the moon on a clear night, and its riverbed full of white, grey, and gold marble, was as good a place as any to call “home.” At least, temporarily. Every new place she came across had to be explored, thoroughly. So, each and every nook and cranny she ever stumbled upon was, at some point, a “home” of hers. It seemed in her blood to explore – and explore she did. And explore she would, until her dying breath. So, with not another thought, she carefully made her way down to the gleaming vein of marble, ready for adventures galore.
