I Smell Funny

Truthfully, she hadn't known if she would ever even see Amalia again -- life without her children had grown to feel quite hopeless and desolate, though she knew she had given them the freedom to live as they pleased, and all had left her. Luckily, most had come back to her.. she couldn't help but feel grateful that they had given her another chance. And it seemed most of them could do with some guidance, even if they had been surviving thus far without her care. "I certainly understand that it can be a bit... weird," she commented with another gentle smile. Weird was probably an understatement. "But you definitely shouldn't worry." If they truly thought of her as a mother, the scent wouldn't excite them -- and even they did grow physically aroused by it she knew they were old enough to understand what was mere instinct and could control themselves. Amalia had nothing to worry about.
"You do smell like a pile of flowers," she commented with a chuckle. "Not that I was going to tell you." Epiphron laughed again, amusement flickering in her blue eyes. However, her gaze softened considerably at the mention of more children. "Would Athena ever be willing to have another man's child?" she'd ask gently, merely conversing. It seemed Amalia wouldn't want to, but she couldn't help but wonder if they'd ever discussed the option. "I'm sure you could find someone willing, if that's what you wanted."
