Her hazel stare lingered on the bird for a long moment. When had she decided to join him? Briefly she thought of Atlas, wondering when it was that Kyarst had outgrown him. "Atlas has sure gotten smaller," she snickered, a half-hearted attempt at a joke. Her slightly playful facade seemed to slip away as she slipped into his embrace, happy to be with him again. "I'm glad," she'd admit with a soft laugh. "I'm in no mood for a fight." Grateful for his touch, she would lean in to let her head rest against his own for a moment. She'd linger against him for a long while, before pulling away. "I'm fine," she'd answer him a bit hesitantly, searching his gaze for something - was he okay? "Same as always. What about you?" Her gaze, though remarkably soft in his presence, was searching too as she watched him. After a moment she would sink to her haunches in front of him, tail curling tightly around her bottom half. |
