Lark vs. Limno

Though the instructions Bass had given for the fight were a bit strange - he wanted the opponents to start their fight from certain positions - he knew there was likely reason for his father's decision. It made sense that fights, outside from practice fights, might start without notice and that he could be attacked from any angle.. with an opponent at a great distance away, or a very close one. He would eye Limno as they moved away from the group, wanting to give the others room for their fights and not wanting them to intrude on his space either. So.. he was supposed to fight this woman? His eyes would narrow as he studied her, considering. She was older than him, though nearly the same size, but his own form was considerably bit bulkier and still held on to some of the puppy fat he had yet to shed. Though she didn't look terribly experienced, he knew that appearances could deceive. Lark would come a bit closer to her as he hunkered down, spreading his legs slightly as he shifted into a more defensive posture. This was far too close for comfort -- he was nearly close enough to smell her breath, if he tried. His nose wrinkled in slight distaste."Ladies first, I guess." |
