Lark didn't have much experience in not getting his way. He hadn't necessarily been spoiled persay, but he certainly hadn't had the misfortune a living a hard life. If the boy hadn't given his name quite quickly he would've probably grown agitated quite quickly, but his gaze softened slightly when Tinaro introduced himself. He was pleased with the answer he got, though he still knew nothing about him beyond his name. It struck him suddenly that perhaps it was stupid to ask someone's name first... because it usually told you nothing at all. "I'm Lark Destruction," he offered at the other boy's question. At the very least, he would know that he was important here, if nothing else. "Do you have parents here?" It would be surprising if a random kid was hanging out in Abaven without their parents, and without being related to him. Feeling a bit more friendly than usual, especially at the other boy's compliance with his question, he moved to sit near him by the edge of the rapids. |
