Hercules smiled happily when she agreed that those things would be stuff she would be good at. He had been sure she would agree, but it was good to know that she knew she would be helpful here doing those things. She hopped up, as quick as ever, and then another frown crossed her muzzle. His ears perked up to listen to her concerns, ready to ease her worries and give her solutions again. Really he just wanted to make sure she was happy. For whatever reason seeing her upset, even if it was just a little bit by the smallest thing, really bothered him. He didn't want her to have any reason not to have that cheery smile on her face. She asked about him leaving and wanted to make sure he wouldn't be gone long. Oh, was that all? She nuzzled him and he smiled down at her. That weird feeling fluttered in his chest again from her touch. He still couldn't really tell if this feeling was good or bad it was just... different from what he had ever felt before. "I won't ever be gone for long. A day or two at most, I promise." He leaned his head down so he could give her a little nuzzle in return. "You could even come with me sometimes if you wanted to, you know," he said as he lifted his head again, his orange gaze peering down at her clear blue eyes. "You'd probably have to keep from hugging the other alphas though," he added with a chuckle. |
