Little did he know, he had been where she was and left without notice. But she blended in so well with the shadows. Ember eyes flashed open, glowing in the darkness as the boy made his exit. Slowly she rose to her paws, spotting the new rock that he had collected for himself. Dipping her head down she touched it with her nose, and it was still warm from his... MOUTH! Jolting back her nose scrunched up, her face shaking back and forth to get rid of the drool that clung to her damp nose. Eww... nasty. Licking her chops with her turned up face, she strode out of their den and followed her brothers path. Hopping up beside him, she wiped his slobber back onto him, right against his left shoulder. "You left drool on your new rock, warn me not to poke my nose in your drool next time." she grumbled. Flopping down beside him, she wiggled against him. She placed her head on his paws, letting out a long sigh. She had felt so alone lately, and it made her belly flop. "What am I going to do when you guys all go off and make a family?" she asked suddenly, a soft whisper against his yellow and black coat. They all had ones that they cared about, but not her. She was too restless, there wasn't going to be anyone that could settle her down. No one but him, her Voltage. |
