The sound of his mate was enough to make his stomach drop as if a rock had fallen into it. Emery would stop his hunt, ears flicked back as he immediately shifted his attention. All that mattered right now was getting back to Silveris and making sure she, as well as their babies, would be okay. The man would grit his teeth, breaking into a full run as he ran back towards the Runestones. He had to find her. Had to keep her safe. Something... something was wrong.
That something was the fact that she was not in the den. When Emery first got to their densite and saw she was not within a moment of panic fluttered in his heart. He would look around, his eyes wide with panic. He would turn from where he stood and rushed towards the stones... and that was where he found her.
The young man would move up behind her, giving a soft whine as he nudged her back. "No no... not here!" He would beg, his gaze focusing on her. That... that was what she had called for... it had to be! Could he even get her on her paws? Would he be able to get her back to the den? The worried father was shaking some, swallowing hard as looked at his beloved. What could he do for her? His mind was so hazy... it felt like he was forgetting everything.
