The slate blue man's hackles would raise, rolling up his fur to protect his vitals and prevent any attempt to grab at his scruff. Lips pulling back in an instinctual snarl, as his ears pinned against his head and his weight then settled on even legs. Spreading them all equally, bending slightly and spreading his toes into the dirt. Those bi-colored orbs of his narrowed at her as his abdomen muscles tightened and his tail went to level with his spin. When the impact of her teeth came to his left forelimb, as did she move herself up to slam into him he kept his ground. It made his body move to the right a few inches creating a bruise on his side and a half inch deep wound made the adrenaline move through his body.
Now at close range with the flank, Quelt would attempt to pull his left paw up and slam it into her right paw. At the same moment his jaw unhinged, as she was close to him aimed for her left shoulder. His tail swiveled underneath him as he kept his toes digging into the dirt to keep balance, doing the same as she had to him attempting to press his weight into her front from his left side.
